| 内容記述 | The purpose of this paper is to investigate the life history of the Japanese left behind in Philippines, to show the significance of learning them, and to develop teaching materials for understanding them. This paper describes the current situation and the life history of three Japanese who still remain in Philippines, and whose generation are different from each other. The significance of learning their life histories in social studies is "to re-examine the viewpoints of the Pacific War and Post-War Society in the textbook," and "to think about the issue of statelessness," and "to be interested in Philippines and the histories between Japan and Philippines.” After thinking about the aims through teaching materials for understanding the left behind population, this paper proposes the learning unit for social studies (history studies) in junior high school. | |||||||
