内容記述 | In this paper, four problems are examined concerning the teaching method of recognition on nature in childhood education; I. the meaning and contents of recogmton on nature to be developed in childhood education, 2. the meaning and content of scientific mind and its relation to recognition on nature, 3. the relation between curriculum of kindergarten and that of elementary school, 4. the conditions of succesful teaching found in the educational practices. The following is a sumary of examination in this study. 1. We can classify the contents of recognition on nature into three groups such as recognition on external world, man-made things, and human life. But from the developmental point of view, they are classified into three groups such as recognition on things, their relations and their essence. 2. Scientific mind means the methods and attitude to recognize nature. In childhood education, sensibility and familiarity to nature and abilities to deal with things are meaningful for scientific mind. 3. The relevant connection between curriculum of kindergarten and that of elementary school is not yet planned as it is prevented by some problems. To settle the problems the spiral curriculum plan was polished corresponding to developmental change of child's recognition on nature. 4. From the analysis of teaching examples in three kindergartens and two elementary schools, we got the conclusion that the developmental process of child's activities and thinking on natural things are regulated distinctly by teaching idea and method of teachers. Therefore it is necessary for teachers to study resonable and systematic content and method of teaching adjusting to process froim kindergarten to elementary school. | |||||||||
