The lesson concerned was given introductory status towards forthcoming fully-fledged teaching themes involving the use of clay. The “basic clay shapes” adopted by Kajita as a step prior to pinchpotting in the clay working process were slightly modified so that the human poses expressed should reflect the actual interests of junior high school students. During the lesson, the students were very lively and immersed themselves in the drama created by freely posed human figures making use of the pinchpot method. The created human figures represented dynamic movements beyond the reach of the incremental method or use of a core rod. However, it was apparent that the pupils lacked sufficient experience of handling clay as some of the students could not produce “basic clay shapes” or could not learn the trick of using the pinchpot method. Such results confirmed the necessity for several trial works to familiarise them with clay.}, pages = {9--17}, title = {粘土の「ひねり出し」による人物づくりの題材-梶田幸恵の先行実践をふまえた中学校での授業-}, volume = {2}, year = {2016} }
