After making a database of 222 camping sites, the authors examine the \ngeographical locations, scales, equipment and services of each camping sites. Additionally, interviewing surveys are conducted with 2 camping sites regarding their management. Camping sites in Kansai \nRegion are often distributed in rural areas far from cities. Their equipment and services complement the inconvenient locations, especially in mountainous areas.
