@article{oai:nara-edu.repo.nii.ac.jp:00011078, author = {宇田, 秀士}, journal = {大学美術教育学会誌}, month = {Feb}, note = {This paper is focused on the activities of SIMOINA BRANCH OF SINANO KYOIKUKAI in Nagano Prefecture during the period from 1887 (Meiji 20th ) to 1919 (Taisho 8th). SIMOINA BRANCH conducted research on handicraft and drawing education actively . The activities are divided into three chronological stages as follows. 1. The early stage was the period from 1887 to 1890 ( the first half of the Meiji 20s '). SIMOINA BRANCH was organized in 1887 (Meiji 20th) . 2. The consolidation stage was the period from 1903 (Meiji 36th) to 1915 (Taisho 4th). SIMOINA BRANCH adopted and digested curricula of handicraft and drawing prepared by Ministry of Education. 3. The expansion stage was the period from 1915 (Taisho 4th) to 1919 (Taisho 8th). Teachers in SIMOINA BRANCH appreciated the curricula of the Ministry and started to reform them. The consolidation stage is very important to understand teachers' activities in SIMOlNA BRANCH. In this stage, teachers held lectures and summer schools, and developed the syllabuses of handicraft and drawing. SIMOINA SYUKO-ZUGA KENKYUKAI (the handicraft and drawing curriculum committee)was the central figure in the research. The committee was organized in 1910 (Meiji 43rd ). Sigeo KINOSHITA, elementary school teacher was a member of this committee. He was behind 2nd JIYUGA EXHIBITION at Tatsuoka Elementary School in 1919 (Taisho 8th). Some members of this commitee were taught by SAITO and YOSIKAWA in the department of handicraft and drawing at Nagano Prefectural Nomal School. YOSIKAWA and SAITO were the advisers of the commitee, too. We need to pay attention to the period when teachers digested the national textbook before the expansion stage. It seems that the expansion stage started in September of 1915 (Taisho 4th). Art (handicraft and drwaing) Education Congress was held in Nagano city then, and th e members of the commitee participated in it. The contents of the congress were reported by Kamesaburo FUJIOKA (teacher of Matsumoto Women's Normal School) . Several topics-good and bad points in SINTEI GACHO (national textbook), fundamental prnciple in art education- were discussed there livey. It is a matter worthy of special mention and it seems that the atmosphere of this cogress stimulated the members to reform art education.}, pages = {237--246}, title = {明治大正期の信濃教育会下伊那部会における手工科・図画科教育研究の萌芽 ―教育思潮、教授方法の「摂取・消化」の観点から―}, volume = {30}, year = {1998} }
