Here, the focus is on the activitises of SIMOINA BRANCH OF SINANO KYOIKUKAI in Nagano Prefecture during the period from 1919 (Taisho 8th) to 1926 (Taisho 15th). In this Period teachers in SIMOINA BRANCH appreciated the curricula of the Ministry and started to reform them. In drawing class, they made pupils cease to draw carefully from model copies. Instead of that, they took their pupils out for walk and the pupils drew the landscape in the fields. In the first part of this paper I examine the process of appreciation of new educational trends and methodology by the teachers. Teachers in SIMOINA BRANCH appreciated modern thoughts and pedagogy during the period from 1915 (Taisho 4th) to 1919 (Taisho 8th). In the socond part, I examine the JIYUGA drawing educational movement in SIMOINA BRANCH during the period from 1919 (Taisho 8th) to 1926 (Taisho 15th). Sigeo KINOSHITA and his companions engaged in the study of JIYUGA drawing, children's song and composition eagerly. In the last part, I examine the mental foundation of teachers in Tatsuoka Elementary School. The important point to note is that the foundation helps us to appreciate the teachers' activity in Tatsuoka School. Tatsuoka School had two groups of teachers with different mental cultures. One was founded on Buddhism and the other on Christianity. The two groups rivaled each other in belief, but they also cooperated with each other in the new education.}, pages = {23--30}, title = {大正後期の信濃教育会下伊那部会における図画科教育研究 ―教育思潮、教授方法の「岨噂・改革」の観点から―}, volume = {31}, year = {1999} }
