The purpose of this paper is to clarify attendant's awareness on Art Cards class, and to make basic resources for teaching materials. The graduate school attendants in this study have heard about Art Cards, but they have never seen them before. They were participated in Art Cards activity and produced original Art Cards as part of the experiment. Later on, one of the attendants taught Fine Arts in Junior High School attached to Nara Univ. of Education. She carried out Art Cards activities in the appreciation lessons of her Art class. This paper consists of three parts: ( i ) to analyze my graduate school class, (ii) to analyze her art class and the junior high school student's consciousness of Art Cards class, (iii) to make clear several points to notice when developing teaching materials for art appreciation.
