The pivot of UEHARA's recognition method is "Shishin" (historical mind) that checks the European "modernity" and "rationality" relatively. This study proposed a schme about the structure of the European rational mind that was grasped by UEHARA. This schme is that the European rationality is made on the base of consent on the existence of something ("etwas" ) cannot be divided by the rationalism and the volition for vitalizing such something ("etwas" ). However UEHARA checked this European schme relatively. His "Shishin" mind attached importance to not only the chaos of the something ("etwas" ) that cannot be understood by the intellect at a single stroke, but also the chaos of the something ("etwas" ) that cannot be described by the present academic method, namely the infinite possibility of the human being. He imaged the brewing reality and actuality of recognition, that is from above mentioned chaos to the mature of recognition, through trial and error of works, labor, thinking, learning and so on. Moreover UEHARA proposed a strong dynamic "turn and return" between thoroughly investigating learner's own situation and thoroughly investigating the reality of the naure, society and history. He imaged that the learner can check unreliable factors of the religious emotion and conventional informations, and can make reliable wisdom and ability, through this strong dynamic "turn and return".
