| 内容記述 | It is needed to develop lesson plans in which student with severely intellectual disability can challenge the tasks actively. This paper aimed to explore a lesson plan and support in physical education, especially using ball games, for students with severely intellectual disability in an upper secondary department of a special school. The 11 lessons in the unit of TATAKI hockey, which was interpersonal play using a futon-tataki as a hockey stick and a special ball, was observed. The target was the II Group, 12 students and 4 teachers, in the upper secondary department of the A special school. The observation focused on the skills and behaviors of one student with Downs Syndrome. The Unit was divided three phases in order to the goals of lessons. Through the phases the target student improved the skills and participated the game actively. The TATAKi hockey was one of the appropriate and effective teaching materials to meet needs of sports for students with severely intellectual disability. | |||||||||
