"Common items for each activity" are commonly necessary to develop the abilities for "Music-Making" and "Appraising" and, therefore, efforts should be made to devise ways to provide sufficient instruction in each activity for "Music-Making" and "Appraising". Among the issues concerning instruction of "common items for each activity" are; I. How they should be taught in relation to music activities; II. How students should be made to understand the terms and symbols which represent the elements that shape music and their functions; III. Whether it is legitimate to teach elements of Japanese traditional music in the same manner as those of Western music; IV. For the elements that are included among "common items for each activity" at both elementary and junior high schools, what specifically is different between what is required of elementary students and what is required of junior high school students; and ⅴ. How it should be taught that acquiring "common items for each activity" will be of use in students' lives. In this study, three cases of junior high school music classes teaching the "common items for each activity" are presented and their teaching methods and results are analyzed from the perspectives of issues I, II, and III above. In so doing, this study attempts to suggest an accurate interpretation of the "common items for each activity," which are meant to overcome the problems of the conventional "conceptual approach," and a teaching method based on such an interpretation.}, pages = {215--226}, title = {中学校音楽授業における〔共通事項〕の指導方法に関する実践的研究}, volume = {61}, year = {2012} }
