This study conducted the relationship between science lesson and Japanese language textbook in Primary and Lower secondary school. The results are as follows. （1）Interview was done to the Primary school teacher and Lower secondary school teacher. According to the interview, teachers do not explain the scientific content in Japanese language textbooks in Japanese language lesson. （2）Ratio of scientific contents in narrative text in Japanese language textbook is high in Primary school and Lower secondary school. Comparing with scientific contents between Science textbook and Japanese language textbook in the viewpoints of Grade, the scientific contents in Japanese language textbook is higher than science textbook in Primary school. However, scientific contents in Japanese language textbook almost accord with the scientific contents in Science textbook in Lower secondary school. （3）Considering with nurturing thinking ability, there is a common point between Science lesson and Japanese language lesson. That is problem solving. Teacher should also recommend reading in Science lesson. Therefore, Science teacher should cooperate with Japanese language teacher. |
