| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of lifestyles including dietary intake for preventing bone mineral loss during pregnancy. Bone mineral densities(BMD)measured by ultrasound at the calcaneus, and urinary hydroxyproline concentrations adjusted for creatinine (HP/Cre)were measured in sixty-eight pregnant women aged 18 to 41 years, at 5-40 weeks of gestation. BMD was Stiffness calculated from the combined value of speed of sound and broadband ultrasound attenuation was used as an index of BMD. The relationship between Stiffness and lifestyles as current and past various foods intake frequency, physical activity and history of participating in sports obtained by questionnaire were examined using stepwise multiple regression analysis, including age, period of gestation, BMI at measurement of BMD and parity as independent variables. 1. Period of gestation and parity showed no significant association with BMD, whereas age was negatively associated. 2. Significant positive correlation was found between urinary H.P/Cre and period of gestation. This result suggests that bone resorption increases with stage of gestation. 3. Significant relationships with Stiffness were found in five llifestyle factors. Stiffness of the pregnant women who had increase of cow' s milk and milk products intake, higher balance score showed by frequent intake of various nutritional foods, lower protein score showed by less frequent intake of protein-rich foods, frequent going out at daytime, and who had no occupation were higher significantly. These results indicate that dietary various food intake containing cow' s milk and milk products considering intake of protein source food, and physical activity at daytime during pregnancy may be important for BMD maintenance of during pregnancy. | |||||||||
