| 内容記述 | This research was to compare the effectiveness of three types of elaboration: self-generated elaboration; selfchoice elaboration; and experimenter-provided elaboration. Self-generated elaboration led to a better free recall than the other elaborations. For words which were rated as difficult to encode, self-generated elaboration and self-choice elaboration led to a better cued recall than experimenter-provided elaboration. Whereas for words which were rated as easily encoded, self-generated elaboration led to the best cued recall. These results were interpreted as showing that self-generated elaboration was the most effective in accessing a whole sentence, and that in each sentence selfgenerated elaboration and self-choice elaboration were effective in accessing a word rated as difficult to encode. | |||||||||
