| 内容記述 | Counseling interviews of three psychotherapists, Rogers, Ellis, and Perls, were analyzed in terms of their basic attitude, nonverbal and verbal skills as well as client's assumed acceptability. In Study 1, 28 nurses served as the rater. They were asked to rate the three psychotherapists in a rating scale in terms of genuineness, positive regard and empathy after watching initial five-minute interview of each therapist. The results indicated that Rogers was the highest in the rating score of respective basic attitude and Perls was the lowest. In Study 2, 67 undergraduates served as the rater under one of the two experimental conditions. The raters in one of the two groups rated video-interviews of Rogers and Perls after listening to respective therapist's counseling theory from the experimenter, and the raters in the other group rated the video-interviews without any explanation of the therapist's theory before watching the video. The results indicated that Rogers was rated higher in every scale than Perls, and that the rating score of verbal skills of Perls was likely to be higher in the group that was explained the theoretical orientation than the other group. The importance of theoretical explanation before showing the demonstration videotape was discussed. | |||||||||
