内容記述 Many researchers have pointed out that one of the major deficits in autistic children is in the area of interpersonal problems. Interpersonal deficits are central symptom of the autism syndrom and a cognitive disorder is hypothesized to underlie this symptom. This study is one of a series of study attempting to clarify the developmental problems and to seek for the appropriate educational care for autistic children. In this study, we attempted to clarify the problems of the interpersonal cognition in autistic children by analyzing the features on the Picture Frustration(PF) Study profile. In study 1, we compared the features on the PF Study profile between autistic chidren group and intellectual handicapped children group that match with trheir chronological ages and developmental ages. Subjects were 13 autistic children and 14 intellectually handicapped children enrolled in elementaly and junior high school classes for children with disabilities. The 13 autistic children had been diagnosed according to currently used criteria (DSM-Ⅵ). All of the children were given the PF Study Test individually. In study 2, we analyzed the changes of the PF Study profile in relation to the cognitive developmental process in a high-functioning autistic child. The subject was a 12-year-old autistic boy. We are educating this boy from the age of 2years in our class of remedial education for handicapped children. The results were as follows: 1) Nonscorable scenes were very frequent in the responses of the autistic group in the PF Study,while they rarely appeared in the intellectually handicapped group. 2) The GCR% of the PF Study on both groups was lower than that of individuals of the same age. 3) The interpersonal problems on the daily life in a autistic child was reflected on the results of the PF Study. On the basis of these results, we discussed the features of the interpersonal cognition on the daily life in autistic children.
