| 内容記述 | The behavioral problems such as persistence and maintenance of sameness wich are chracteristics of autistic children are anxious matter for educational care. These beheavioral problems should not be considered negatively just as maladjustment, but various ways of educational care must be sought after by grasping the meaning or background of behaviour in the developmental process. This study is one of a series of studies attempting to clarify the developmental problems and to seek for the appropriate educational care in autistic children. In the present research, we attempted to analyze the developmental changes in behavioral problems of one autistic female in relation to the cognitive development and the communicative functions. The subject was a 22 year-old autistic female. In analyzing her developmental process of cognitive development during eighteen years, five stages were divided from the viewpoint of the qualitative changes in the cognitive development. The results indicated that the behavioral problems of an autistic female change or disappear with progress of the developmental stages, which illustrate a closer relationship between the cognitive developmental process and the behavioral problems. On the basis of this finding, we discussed the developmental chnges of behavioral problems at the various developmental stages. The behavioral problems of autistic children at a certain stage of their develpmental process should be recognized as a sign of developmental difficulties to overcome the next developmental stage. It is important that we look at the behavioral problems of autistic children in relation to their developmental process. | |||||||||
