| 内容記述 | A lot of English onomatopoeias are used as verb on syntax, on the other hand, Japanese onomatopoeias are used as adverb. For example, PIKAPIKA-HIKARU or GIRATT0-HIKARU and so on. However, not all of the onomatopeias play the same role. Some of them are used as added to SURU or NARU, others are used as adjectives added to DA or NA or NO and are used as a predicate. In this paper, we suggested the differences of these patterns are based on the onomatopoeic meanings. In the result, we have classified onomatopoeias into 9 patterns.
