内容記述 Three factors which were speculated by literature review as related to client acceptability of counselor recommendation were examined in Study 1 in an analogue situation. Ninety five undergraduates were asked to rate the degree of importance of the three factors from the viewpoint of client when they were to accept the counselor's recommendation to the client messages which represented interpersonal or intrapersonal problems. Results indicated that the three factors were rated as more important when interpersonal problems were at issues than when intrapersonal problems were. The matching factor of the three factors was rated as the most important to be accepted, and the ability factor for accomplishing recommendation was rated as next important to be accepted. The easiness factor for accomplishing recommendation was rated as relatively less important than the others. The matching in this study means that the client perceives the counselor to be able to understand what the client wants. In Study 2 the process of acceptance of counselor recommendation was examined, separating the subprocesses as the accepting process and the accomplishing process. Results failed to show difference in assessment of importance of the acceptability factors between the two subprocesses, though the rank order in rating of importance in acceptability factors, which was found in Study 1, was repeated in Study 2. These results were discussed along with the current trend of counseling practice.
