| 内容記述 | The collection of fruit fly, Drosophila was conducted at the campus of Nara University of Education, Nara Experimental Garden, Mt. Kasuga and Okuyoshino Experimental Forest from November 1993 to October 1994 at monthly intervals. A total of 2547 Drosophila of 17 different species were collected at 4 sites. Seven of these 17 species have not been reported so far in Nara prefecture. The most exciting finding was that Drosophila simulans was captured for the first time in Nara prefecture. Different seasonal changes were observed in the two species. One has been captured at Nara University of Education and the other at Nara Experimental Garden. This result suggests that the collection procedure reported here will be suitable for teaching materials in high school biology class. | |||||||||
