The subjects were 48 second, 4th, and 6th graders in each grade. A picture book titled "Ten no fue" (The twitterings in heaven) by Ryusuke Saito & Seiji Fujishiro was read by the experimenter in each classroom. For half of the subjects in each class the experimenter read orally the story with presenting the picture book. For the remaining subjects the experimenter read orally the story without presenting the picture book. After then the subjects were asked to write the answers to the story comprehension test. The main findings of this study were as follows : ( 1 ) The score of the comprehension test was highest for the 6th graders and lowest for the 2nd graders. ( 2 ) Childen's story comprehension was significantly facilitated by presenting the picture book for the 6th graders, but not facilitated for the 2nd and 4th graders. These results suggest that there are developmental differences in children's story comprehension and that children's story comprehension is not always facilitated by presenting the picture book.}, pages = {209--220}, title = {小学生の物語理解に及ぼす絵本提示の効果}, volume = {41}, year = {1992} }
