| 内容記述 | ln Japan social overhead capital investments were actively performed in postwar period. The fitst purpose of this paper is, surveying the development of social overhead capital investments, to characterize the respective phases of government investment policies for expansion of social overhead capital, and to investigate the dominant ideas sustaining such respective phases of goverment s investment policies since the high growth period of 1960's. The second purpose of this paper is to investigate the regional allocation of government investments and to study the correlation between that allocation and the regional income distribution. In Japan, the stress of public investment policies were set on provincial areas relative to megalopolitan areas in the 1960's and the first half of the 1970's. But that tendency was reversed in the second half of the 1970's, and the regional income distributional pattern was changed advantageous to megaropohtan areas. In this paper, I demonstrate the positive correlation between the regional allocation of public investments and the regional income distribution. | |||||||
