Act on Support for Persons with Developmental Disabilities provides for the support throughout their life for people with developmental disabilities, and especially it is a big problem how we can support a career on people with autism Spectrum Disorders. It is the important point they have a self-understanding by knowing the characteristics and they get appropriate understanding about the characteristics and reasonable accommodation in workplace. This research aims at planning the career support program of assessment for the personal characteristics and trying it in the welfare institution, and finds out if it is effective as a career support. This research shows that the people with autism spectrum disorders can get appropriate information of the personal characteristics in workplace and have a self-understanding of it by the program for assessment. In addition, the support program helps acquiring business manner. On the other hand, it leaves the problem of improving the objectivity and precision of the assessment and studying reasonable accommodations in workplace. |
