From the viewpoint of identity built from dynamic relationship between inner and outer world, we are interested in approach to ask teacher educators themselves, that is, approaches to ask teachers’ professionalism. In this paper, we first look at trends in research on international self-study in teacher education. Secondly, we are considering Professional Capital’s ideas and the possibilities that Professional Capital contribute on in connection with the professionalism of teachers. And, in order to think about the identity of teacher educators who train at university, we are studying what is a resilient teacher educator and what kind of things are required for university and training organization.
