Since then a system with a special emphasis on home care has started. The welfare for the elderly is a communal task. All the communes are making a system in which citizens in need of home care can receive necessary services as much as they want. We focused on meal delivery services in home care. In Denmark, it is a national responsibility to support the elderly’s daily meal. Communes have a legal obligation to offer meal services for the elderly, and about 90 % of service providers are such communes. We investigated into the current state of the private service providers in the market where most of the services are provided by public corporations. ”DIN PRIVATE KOK" has alliances with 31 communes and offers meal delivery services. As aging of the population progresses, we will need the quality assurance Danish meal delivery services have been offering. We report the efforts of private enterprises to support daily meals for the elderly from the standpoint of consumers. In addition to this, we discussed how to support meal services for the elderly in Japan.}, pages = {151--159}, title = {高齢者の食を支える─ デンマークにおける配食サービス調査から─}, volume = {67}, year = {2018} }
