So we researched about Millennium Development Goals and the Earth Charter and Sustainable Development Goals, we understood the main task of Millennium Development Goals and Sustainable evelopment Goals is eradicating poverty, and the main task of the Earth Charter is environmental protection. And we clarify four important task for Global citizen, eradicating poverty, diffusion of education, gender equality and environmental protection. Next we made category to classify ESD practice and classified 296 practices. So we understood the practices. about education, about town development, and about environmental protection were many.But the practices about eradicating poverty were few. .Japan UNESCO Domestic Committee define ESD for education to cultivate citizen in creating a sustainable society until now. But the message to teacher from Japan UNESCO Domestic Committee added definition of ESD, to contribute Sustainable Development Goals. It’s a chance to correct direction of Japanese ESD.
