However, not only the efforts of graduate students and teacher educators but also new cultural construction is requested between school and faculty to school of professional development in education, in order to make full use of \"research\" to reframework \"practical experience\".\nIn this paper, we pay attention to way of thinking and methodology of self-study in teaching and teacher education since the 1990's under circumstances where accountability to society and responsibility for education are required. It is because these related studies are considered to be helpful in thinking about future school of professional development in education.
