の生息密度\nを明らかにするために、スポットライトセンサス法とカメラトラップ法、糞粒法の3種を用いて野外調査を行った。スポットライトセンサス調査を2009年11月~2010年12月に56回、カメラトラップ調査を2009年12月~2010年12月に行い、ニホンジカ、イノシシSus scrofa、ムササビPetaurista leucogenys をはじめとした哺乳類14種が確認できた。スポットライトセンサス法と糞粒法によるニホンジカの推定生息密度は、それぞれ28.5頭/km2と66.6 頭/km2 (2010年12月)であった。ニホンジカの推定生息密度と撮影頻度指数は冬期の1月が最も高く (2010年1月、推定生息密度50.0 頭/km2、撮影頻度指数105.5)、その他の季節は低かった (平均推定生息密度24.6頭/km2、平均撮影頻度指数12.2)。ニホンジカの推定生息密度と撮影頻度指数には有意な正の相関が見られた(ρ= 0.795、p= 0.012、N=
