Among them, the first point to notice is the system of discovering patients based on medical examination  for residents．(1)Medical examination has been carried out by specialists for many years. (2)According to the findings obtained from accumulation of the examination results, addition of Criteria for certification and expansion of the range of medical treatment have been realized. The second thing to point out is that there are unique measures to link the examination to certification. (1)Many specialists who participate in medical examinations are also members of the certification committee. (2)The examination also carries out the necessary check for the application for certification. (3)If judged to be equivalent to certification,  prefectural administration will help to apply for certification.
