2 m 以上、胸高直径 1 cm 以上の樹木を調査し、1990 年に同大学構内を対象に行われた公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) の調査結果と比較した。本調査では、48 科 89 属 140 種 149 分類群 [114種 3 亜種 14 変種 4 品種 14 園芸 (栽培) 品種；便宜上、以下では種以下の分類群を「種」と表記する] の樹木の生育を確認した。確認された個体は 3,340 本、幹数は 5,641 本、胸高断面積は 7.9 m2/ha であった。公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) の調査時は附属小学校校庭、附属小学校養護学級棟北側、構内南西部のアラカシ Qercus glauca 群生地が調査されておらず、総樹木数は 1,033本、胸高断面積は 3.3 m2/ha であった。公文・北川 (1990a, 1990b) と調査条件を揃えて集計すると、2020 年の総樹木数は 2,736 本、胸高断面積 7.2 m2/ha となり、30 年間で本数は 2.6 倍、胸高断面積は
