| 内容記述 | This study aims to determine the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on ESD activities in UNESCO associated schools. The analysis is mainly based on the annual activity reports for 2019-2021 submitted by UNESCO associated schools in Japan. The results show, firstly, that the coronavirus disaster caused significant constraints on UNESCO associated schools' ESD activities, forcing many activities to be cancelled, changed, postponed or reduced. Second, it was found that the cancelled ESD activities were mainly local activities, events and exchange activities （especially international exchange and overseas training）. In addition, a range of activities were implemented online. Third, there was a change in the field of activities. Furthermore, it was found that the coronavirus disaster facilitated digitalisation in UNESCO associated schools. |
