| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to characterize the process of routinization in which learners learn a new mathematical concept based on their own use of language about the definition before the definition as a word is introduced to them. For this purpose, we used the framework of the Theory of Commognition to analyze the learners’ change in language use during the study of “symmetrical figures” in the 6th grade. As a result, we found that there are two types of learners: those who learn by replacing words about processes and actions expressed through visual media with words about states and objects, and those who give meaning to words about objects by imagining actions and operations influenced by others. On the other hand, there are two types of learners: those who learn by replacing words about processes and actions with words about objects. This pointed out the possibility of designing a learner-centered class that emphasizes the process of assigning meanings to words among learners, triggered by the words that children themselves created operationally based on visual mediations. | |||||||||
