| 内容記述 | This paper reports on the field occurrence of the Middle Miocene Natsumi intrusion exposed in the Yoshino District of Nara Prefecture, and discusses the mingling of two magmas of rhyolite and andesite. From the observations the main rhyolite magma was intruded by the andesite magma, and the contact between them changes gradually, indicating that both magmas were hot enough to deform when the andesite magma intruded to form the composite intrusion. Therefore, both felsic and mafic magmas were existed simultaneously in the magma chamber in the central area of the Kii Peninsula during the Middle Miocene. | |||||||||
