| 内容記述 | In this study Japanese mothers with young children under school age were asked their attitudes towards child-rearing through questionnaires. The results showed that they had not only positive but also negative attitudes towards their children and child-rearing. Among mothers staying at home as a housewife, those who preferred their self-absorbed lifestyle had most negative feelings with their children and child-rearing. Their psychological well-being was lower than that of mothers who preferred family-oriented or job- and family-oriented lifestyle. These findings were discussed with regard to family support systems. | |||||||
