| 内容記述 | Japanese shodo is the art of writing Chinese characters and Japanese letters in a beautiful artistic style. These characters are important tools for communicating ideas. Because they used to be written only by hand, they are imbued with their own unique flavor. Therefore, strict training was required in order to master writing distinctive yet correct characters and letters. Part of this practice involved tracing the handwriting of the great masters. This is what is known as shuji. Strong traditional skills have been passed down over the years. Handwriting began to be taught in schools in 1873, but because of the increasing number of required subjects, it is no longer taught as much as in the past. In addition, people's attitudes toward handwriting have changed due to the development of printing and the widespread use of computers. Although we can leave it to machines to produce perfectly correct characters, there are some people who strive to attain dignity in their handwriting. Although artistic writing may not be required of the general population, it is nonetheless desirable to effectively learn to write quickly and correctly. This paper focuses primarily on the philosophy of the method of teaching handwriting skills. | |||||||
