| 内容記述 | We investigate an ecological system of fish in a pond which was invaded by fish- eater fish from overseas. A population of bait fish is estimated by a traditional marks-recapture method. A number of eaters which are not easily caught is estimated by using a new method proposed by one of the present authors. Based on a mathematical model with the estimated population data, we simulate the patterns of population changes in future under some assumptions on the past populations. For a comparison, we also study population changes of bait and eater fish in the lake Biwa. | |||||||||
