| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the spacing effect on the memory of Kanji with same radical properties. 53 undergraduates studied the Kanji list items successively presented as spaced or massed repetition. The Kanji list was composed 24 items, 8 items of same radical and similar meaning , 8 items of same radical and dissimilar meaning, and 8 control items of different radical and meaning. Immediately after a study period, they were given free recall test and recognition memory test followed by a perceptual figure tests. Analysis indicated that spacing effects were observed on same radical and same meaning Kanji and control list, but were not observed on same radical and dissimilar meaning kanji list. These results were discussed with related theory, retrieval process one, "encoding variability and retrieval cues" hypothesis on spacing effect in memory. | |||||||
