| 内容記述 | In the course of environmental studies involving continuous observations of the anaerobic sea bottom generating ammonia and hydrogen sulphide in the brackish Lake Nakanoumi (Shimane Prefecture, Japan), we found that the particulate contained various amino acids. This fact suggested a new possible way of synthesis of various peptides. In the laboratory experimental investigations, it was found that cellular organic polymers containing amino acids were synthesized rapidly and spontaneously with the solutions mixed with HC02H, HCOH, MgCl2, NH4OH and Na2S at room teperature and pressure. These entirely new findings on the non-biotic synthesis of peptides suggest to us a possibility of the first stage of the Origin of Life. | |||||||
