| 内容記述 | How does musical sensibility change when people accept music of other cultures positively? After the Meiji Restoration, the Japanese Ministry of Education took the policy of the positive introduction of Western music and this caused a great influence on many fields, even on adults' popular-songs. As a result, many elements in them, such as rhythm, scales, melodic treatments, timbre, etc. have been changing even now. This article is a part of my investigations on the changes in Japanese musical sensibility with the acceptance of Western music. Here, I focus on the process of change of intervals and temperaments in two popular-songs by S.Nakayama. Piches in records by three singers, S.Matsui, S.Gotoh and C.Satoh are measured and intervals are converted into cents. The results are examined with regard to the following three points ; a) the third, b) semitone, c) Tonic and tetrachord. This paper shows that, during Taisho era, intervals and temperaments had been changing from traditional ones of S.Matsui's singing to Westernized and well-controlled ones of C.Satoh's singing. | |||||||
