| 内容記述 | In general, the appearance and the popularization of new word are accompanied by the appearance and the popularization of a new recognition in connection with the world. It would be applied to the social establishment of the word "juvenile culture" which is testified that the word is a new Japanese coined word in the 1930's. The journal "Seikatsu Gakko" (from January of 1935 to August of 1938) was published just in this era. It is said that the journal "Seikatsu Gakko" played a role of the people's front in the area of education. In addition to it, it is well known recently that the most importantly treated issue in this journal was the problem of the "juvenile culture". Because in the historical aspect this journal was located in the point of the two whirlpool between the so-called "Seikatsu Tsuzurikata" edcational movement and the newly arisen juvenile cultural movement. And in the stage of its appearance of the word "juvenile culture", on the other hand it was this "Seikatsu Gakko" that was situated as the central point the school teachers in this age rolled out the so-called "classroom culture" actively. But these sorts of circumstances have not clarified sufficiently until now. This study attempts to evidence these conditions structurally according to the papers on juvenile culture in "Seikatsu Gakko" on three times considerations. The first time theme is to grasp the background of this journal's papers on juvenile culture as follows. Introduction. My interest and subject in this paper. Chapter I. Children's life and cultural circumstances in the 1930's. Chapter II. The position of the journal "Seikatsu Gakko" in the movement of juvenile culture.§1.
