内容記述 Experiments were undertaken to investigate changes in blood sugar and blood lactate concentrations after exhaustive exercise load for 10 minutes on the treadmill in both exhaustively trained and untrained groups. In addition, a comparative study of differences of these blood components among exhaustively, moderately and mildly trained groups (two groups were already examined) was made. Results obtained were as follows. 1) In both exhaustively trained and untrained groups, blood sugar concentration significantly decreased immediately after and 15 minutes after the termination of exercise, but thereafter it recovered to the resting level in 30 minutes. Blood sugar concentration in both groups showed the lowest values immediately after the termination of exercise. The rate of decrease in blood sugar was obviously smaller in the exhaustively trained group than in the untrained group immediately after and 15 minutes after exercise. On the other hand, the rate of decrease in blood sugar immediately after exercise was much larger in the exhaustively trained group than in both moderately and mildly trained groups, but it showed no significant difference between the former and the latter 15 mitutes after exercise. 2) In both exhaustively trained and untrained groups, blood lactate concentration significantly increased immediately after and 15 minutes after the termination of exercise, but thereafter it recovered to the resting level in 30 minutes. Blood lactate concentration in both groups showed the highest values immediately after the termination of exercise. The rate of increase in blood lactate showed no significant difference between the exhaustively trained and untrained groups immediately after exercise, but it was something larger in the former than in the latter 15 minutes after exercise. On the other hand, the rate of increase in blood lactate immediately after exercise was much larger in the exhaustively trained group than in both moderately and mildly trained groups.
