| 内容記述 | In this paper I made a comparative study of music teacher training system between Australia and Japan, and tried to suggest some possible solutions for Japanese training system. Section 1 describes the advantages and disadvantages of Japanese music teacher training. Section 2 describes the Australian case and compares it to the Japanese one, especially with regard to the three points: a) the qualification for higher education, e. g, Higher School Certificate, b) the training for secondary school music teachers, e.g, a case in the University of Melbourne, Faculty of Music, c) the training for primary school teachers, e.g, a case in the Victoria College of Advanced Education. Section 3 shows that the Australian system gives some hints for solving the present problems in Japan, especially in three points, namely, the entrance examination, curriculum and re-training. Above all, subjects concerning music education should be enriched in the departments of music of the faculty of education as in Australia. | |||||||
