| 内容記述 | Ionic current components during TTX-resistant driver potential (DP) oscillation were studied on voltage-clamped neurons of the crab cardiac ganglion. A suprathreshold depolarizing clamp produced an initial inward current followed by a steady outward current. Both currents occurred almost concurrently on membrane depolarization. The peak amplitude of DP is determined by a steady state of membrane currents resulting from counteraction of inward and outward currents. The inward current was enhanced by TEA, markedly reduced by Mn2+, and the outward current was blocked by TEA. The former is carried by Ca2+, and the latter by K+. Inactivation process of the Ca2+ current coincides well with a long refractoriness in DP repetition rate. DP is generated by a voltage-dependent Ca2+ conductance increase leading to produce the inward Ca2+ current of greater magnitude than the outward K+ current simultaneously produced by a voltage-dependent K+ conductance increase. Relaxation oscillation of DP is an endogenous, self-regenerative response of neuronal somata. Characteristics of the oscillation were discussed in relation to rhythmic burst pattern formation in the spontaneous ganglion neurons. | |||||||
