| 内容記述 | In the last article, we investigated D. Wheeler's idea of 'Humanising Mathematical Education', especially one of three ways of humanising: mathematisation. Because of improving the 'Subordination of Learning to Teaching', we favored his idea. The purpose of this article is to investigate the problems of situations which give rise to the activity of mathematisation. Firstly, we analyse briefly the notion of situations and discuss some issues; situation is a phenomenon including mathematics structure. Secondly, we describe some viewpoints of the organization of situations and the necessary conditions of their use. For example, they must be realistic and familiar to children. Thirdly, we discuss one of the important conditions, that is, children's goal and teacher's goals in them. We, lastly, examine a situation on the basis of the responses of children aged 10-11 to the 'area of triangle'. In conclusion, we point out that the activity of mathematisation will be given rise to if we ensure a better use of situations. | |||||||
