| 内容記述 | Using three types of women's clothing with different covering area of skin surface, one tight and the others loose around the arms and neck, an experiment was conducted to investigate heat loss and heat production according to the type of clothing during the rest and walking time for an hour respectively. Two young females served as experimental subjects. The following results were obtained. 1. The mean skin temperature at rest was 33.3℃ in all subjects and clothing differences were negligible. When the subjects were walking, however, the difference between types of clothing was observed clearly. 2. Heat production and loss in subjects during one hour rest and one hour walking were significantly different according to the type of clothing at least under the comfortable thermal environment. 3. Thermal insulation of three types of clothing was increased with the enlargement in covering area of skin surface at both rest and walking time. | |||||||
