| 内容記述 | In the last thirty years, we have seen the so-called 'modernization' of mathematics education, and we are now bewildered at it. Some mathematics educators say that the modernization ended in failure, and insist that the curriculum of the so-called 'New Math' must be changed from the slogan 'Back to Basics'. However, this interpretation is not necessarily true because the idea of the change is not certain and there may be a risk of the re-modernization in this idea. So, we are very interested in D.Wheeler's idea of 'Humanising Mathematical Education' because the idea has, we think, a philosophy of revolution of mathematics education related with the 'pedagogy of situation'. The purpose of this article is to investigate his idea, especially one of three ways of humanising : mathematisation. Firstly, we describe Wheeler's three ways of humanising: mathematisation, unfolding mathematics as human activities and awareness. Secondarily, we point out that the activity of 'representation' is useful for the mathematisation and we fail to notice a possibility of self-modification of representation. In conclusion, the idea of 'Humanising' is favored because it may improve the 'Subordination of Learning to Teaching'. | |||||||
