| 内容記述 | The present writers have revealed the following after research on the course of tourism industry development in Ise-Shima area which is well-known as a prominent tourist resort in Japan today, from the viewpoints of the equipment for a local modern traffic network and the location of tourism industry. (1) The original development of Ise-Shima area as a tourist resort was based upon the existence of the Grand Shrines of Ise, and the tourist resort has made a marked expansion from Futami to Okushima by way of Toba with an advance of the equipment of modern traffic network. (2) The big private railway enterprise-Kintetsu Coillpany takes the leadership in the equipment of a modern traffic network whick is inseparably related to the development of Ise-Shima area as a tourist resort and obtains the almost exclusive possession of traffic facilities in Ise-Shima area. (3) Some big enterprises usually make an important distribution to the location of tourism industry and establish strategic points for tourism. Particularly the role of Kintetsu Company is very important in the location of tourism industry in Ise-Shima area together with the equipment of a modern traffic network. (4) Tourism industry in Ise-Shima area holds a dominant position in Mie prefecture and the tourism industry development is largely carried on the economically underdeveloped districts in Ise-Shima area. Therefore it has a great effect on the regional economy. (5) Though, generally speaking, an income for each person increases in proportion to the ratio of the tertiary industry with tourism industry as the center, it is not necessarily true in Ise-Smma area. And the tourism industry development is not effective against the outflow of population. | |||||||||
