| 内容記述 | To examine the effects of labeling concept names and frequency of instances on a conceptual sorting task, 4- and 6-yr.-old children were given the task with high- or low- frequency instances along with labeling concept names or instance names by the experimenter. As a whole, the task was learned faster with concept-labeling than with instancelabeling but the low-frequency task was not significantly facilitated by concept-labeling for 4-yr. -old children. The high-frequency tasks were learned faster than the low-frequency tasks for 4-yr. -old children but no performance difference was found between them for 6- yr. -old children. It was concluded that learning the conceptual sorting task depended on both labeling condilions and frequency of instances for 4-yr. -old children, while it depended on labeling conditions for 6-yr. -old children. | |||||||||
