To attain this aim, we analysed the data gained by personal interview test to 424 children (from four to seven years of age in Nara Prefecture). This test consists of four items such as follows, (1) the image of summer season, (2) the moon, (3) see-saw, (4) cloth carp. Some important results were obtained as following : 1 The image of summer season (1) The image of summer season of children connected with familiar objects such as cicada and electric fan. (2) The image of summer season of children could be captured to become more distinct and objective while they are five or sixyears old. (3) The image of summer season of the children in the mountain village was poorer than that of the children in the agricultural villages and city. 2 The image of moon (1) More than 50% of all children understood the number of moon as one, but there were many incorrect answeres and no-answeres. (2) Animism about moon decreased gradually in proportion as children grew older, but a majority of at least one third of seven-year-old children imaged, "Rabbit lives in the moon." 3 See-saw (1) Most of children understood the functions of see-saw, but percentage of correct answer of children in the mountain village was lower than that of others. (2) It was very difficult for the infants (four to five) to reason the change of balance of weight based on principle of causality. 4 Cloth carp (1) Animism about cloth carp decreased gradually in proportion as children grew older. (2) It was not difficult for infants to explain the relation between flying of cloth carp and existence of wind, but it was very difficult to explain exactly the relation between flying of cloth carp and directions of wind.}, pages = {171--195}, title = {幼年期における自然認識の発達過程とその指導内容・指導方法の開発に関する研究(Ⅰ)}, volume = {27}, year = {1978} }
