| 内容記述 | The purpose of this experiment was to examine whether or not previously learned verbal habits, especially pronoun-verb connections, influence upon verbal conditioning. 120 Taffel-type cards were used. Each of them included a personal pronoun, "I", "You", or "He", on the upper side, and three verbs, good-, neutral-, and bad-impression verbs, on the lower side. Following 30 operant trials, 90 college students were divided into three groups and were given 90 conditioning trials. In the conditioning period the response to either a good-, neutral-, or bad-impression verb was reinforced by "good". The main results obtained were as follows. (1) In the operant period good-impression verbs were selected most frequently of the three classes of verbs. Particularly this trend was dominant when "You" appeared on the card. These results were inconsistent with Dixon's finding(l965). (2) In the conditioning period verbal conditioning was established in case of female subjects receiving the reinforcement for good-impression verbs. | |||||||
