| 内容記述 | In the analysis of variance technique, the author has considered the two-factor experimental design with repeated measures on one factor. Having, decided, for example, that the repeated factor is Factor B, and the non-repeated factor is Factor A, there are four cases depending upon the fact that Factor A and Factor B are fixed factor or random factor. It is as follows: Case 1: Factor A and Factor B are both fixed. Case 2: Factor A is fixed, and Factor B random. Case 3: Factor A is random, and Factor B fixed. Case 4: Factor A and Factor B are both random. As for the Case 1, the error(b) term is used as denominator for F ratio to test the significance of main effect of Factor A', and the error (w) term is used to test the Factor B and to test the interaction effect of A and B. As for the Case 2, the error(w) term is used for the same purpose as previously described in the Case 1. But, to test the significance of Factor A, the quasi-F ratio is used instead of the usual F ratio. The denominator of the quasi-F ratio is the quantity which has been expressed by the equation MSab + MSerror(b) - MSerror (w). As for the Case 3, the mean square for AB interaction term is used to test the significance of Factor B; and the error(b) term and the error(w) term are used in the same way as in the Case 1. As for the Case 4, the quasi-F ratio is used to test the significance of Factor A; and to test the significance of Factor B and AB interaction, the techniques previously described in the Case 3 are applied. | |||||||
